Your New Favourite Band

My label-mates Replicas have a new record. It features three tracks called "The City", "Hearts Beat" and "You Disappear".

You can preorder the 7" from O Genesis now, I think you probably should.

Found Found Found (Miss Cosmos)

Below is a picture of me yobbing about in a pub with some fellow Essex yobs (click to see the full shot - blogger.com is useless), who comprise the group Miss Cosmos. I've talked about them before, and I'm doing it again because I met up with them recently and was reminded of how good they are. And now they have a new member who plays synth, which is nice.

NME

I featured briefly in Wednesday's edition of the New Musical Express, alongside my friends from the brilliant pop group Electricity In Our Homes. Have a look!

A mainstream press debut for little old me. Not too bad for a first try, I reckon.

Duelling blogs

My first fan page has arrived. Strange, no? It's written by a girl with whom I've been corresponding since she saw me play with the Charlatans in St Helens, her name is Saffron O'Hara and you can read her blog by clicking here. Also follow her on Twitter, she's very friendly.

I am just coming out of recovery from Field Day, which was excellent but is now a bit blurry in my memory.

Currently I'm working on a new live set-up, which is yielding some interesting results; I'll post some new videos of sound/tape experiments soon.
